Eduard/VSCO Edit
Eduard/ is a contemporary tea label founded in Berlin in 2025 by tea sommelier Eduardo Molina. Every season, they release a curated collection of teas from a single tea-growing region. Each collection is a bridge into that region and an invitation to discover its terroir, people, and stories.
In this Eduard/Spec Shoot I was eager to give these teas a natural background that blends with the CI color profile. With later stronger focus on the white tea it has been a pleasure to arrange these pics in a local forest. The plants (presumably some variety of blueberries) in the background almost look like freshly growing tea leafs to the non-expert. With VSCO Filters I explored color variations to match with the package coloring. Taking it further I employed Adobe Firefly and Google Gemini's Nano Banana 2 as an engine to integrate the tea flavors as physical decoration into my shots. I am truly blown away by the quality.
Silver Needle Fullmoon: Once each month, during the full moon, skilled hands pluck only the youngest buds, still wrapped in their silver down. The lunar rhythm is believed to draw the plant’s finest essence to the surface, giving this tea its delicate aroma and refined natural sweetness.
Second Musk Flush: During the warm summer flush, a unique natural reaction transforms the tender leaves, enhancing their fruity, muscatel aroma. Only the most expressive 4–5% of this rare harvest are hand-plucked to create a Darjeeling of remarkable depth and character.
Himalaya Imperial Black: Rooted in the Himalayan terroir, this tea is crafted with East Asian techniques that bring new expression to the region. The result is an intensely oxidized black tea, rich and layered, that captures both the depth of the mountains and the spirit of innovation behind its making.
